Résumé

Didactics as the science of teaching and learning clarifies certain dependencies between teachers and students’ activities. Content, methods, forms and means, working conditions and results of teaching are viewed in the paper. The article shows, that to effectively implement the teaching process, the knowledge of the general laws of teaching and learning is not enough. Experienced person in action needs both - a general understanding of educational processes and the knowledge of the concrete and specific features of teaching of individual subjects, which is discussed in the paper.
